Retour à la liste

Czech patented automatic cover won a Red Dot Design Award.

Another great success for USSPA design and development department.

Patented cover for ACS® has been developed by a  Czech spa producer USSPA and is one of its kind in the world. Even over 5 meters long swim spa can be covered just by pressing a button.

Cover ACS® is working similar way as the roof of the convertible and it stores away automatically shaft along the swim spa. Uncovering of the swim spa takes less than 2 minutes. A minimalistic design created by our internal designer Petr Slanina is following the function and does not interfere with the architecture of the garden and house. ACS® is also secured even against severe weather conditions or electricity failure. It can also withstand a child´s weight, eliminating the risk of drowning known at the in ground pools. Automatic cover is contributing to effective all year use and easy maintenance. Thanks to the cover a swim spa offers pleasantly warm water any time a year.

The Czech family-owned company USSPA from Dolní Dobrouč is the only company in the spa industry, which is also successful in the design field. It`s first prestigious Red Dot Award USSPA won for their spa LyraiN from designers MgA. Filip Streit and Petr Slanina. The same model won a Good Design Award in Chicago this year in 2018.

„The first version of the ACS® for swim spa was introduced already in 2012. It is technically unique solution out of any standards of our industry. This idea came out of my father´s mind,” says Mrs. Kateřina Kadlecová – CEO of USSPA. „Thanks to the experience we have improved the technology and construction of the cover over the last 3 years.
